My biological clock just started ticking.

Oh snap!

September 7, 2010

I just went on a youtube frenzy and remembered how much I wanted to be in a preteen black all girl r&b group signed to Bad Boy records such as, but not limited to, 3LW (3 Little Women). It’s never to late to follow your dreams, folks!

Hell, I would’ve settled for a preteen white all girl R&B group signed to Bad boy records… remember DREAM?!

Extremely Important Science Update.

September 2, 2010

Did you know that scientists recently discovered a new species of monkey in Columbia?

Previously, this region of Amazon rainforest hadn’t been explored because of major violence. But three years ago it let up, and scientists could finally look for elusive species that they had heard rumor of.

Enter: a super f*cute monkey. Look at that fiery red beard!

Native Columbian scientist, Javier Garcia, was finally able confirm the monkeys’ existence when he rolled up on a group of them three sheets to the wind on Guiness, singing the Pogues.

Forgot to tell you…

At Bedrock they had a zoo with the most terrifying creature from the Mesozoic era. I was so freaked out I forgot to take a picture. But here’s what it looked like. The vicious “Goatasaurus”

Adorable? Yes. But, man, was it extinky!

The Tail of Jackie O. Lope

September 2, 2010

I was searching for the perfect tumbleweed,
when I stumbled upon a treasure indeed.

But Seth had told me that jackalopes weren’t real?
Well the proof’s in that puddin’ so in your face, Keal!

His name is Jackie and he loves to drink,
We are going to be best friends I think.

Yeah, the Grand Canyon is, like, totally great.

Angie said what?!

Yabba Dabba Doooo-de where the fuck are we?!

August 31, 2010

Seth and I got up early today to head out to the Grand Canyon. First stop, Egg McMuffin from the turquoise arches. That’s right son, they are aqua out here. We are about half way to our destination, stop for gas, and what do we see? Oh nothing but Bedrock Campground!! This is an old school, practically deserted life size replica of the Hannah Barbera classic come to life. When you think of running across something bizarre and surreal on a road trip, this was just that. Adding to the strange factor, we were the only folks there. I can’t really even describe it. I just have to show it!

The below pic had the flash on. It was actually a pitch black theater that shows Flinstone episodes all day. But walking in, I thought we were gonna be eaten by coyotes.

I’m in Sedona!

August 31, 2010

Home to the magnificent Red Rocks, Devils Bridge (which we hiked yesterday) and….

ladies and gentlemen, the worlds CUTEST TREE!

We are out here for the Sedona Film Festival. It doesn’t actually go down till February, but they are showing the Joan movie for their summer screening. AKA: they gave Seth and I a trip out here!

It’s gorgeous. Like Utah but without the shitty low alcohol beer rule!

Our day rounded out with an amazing slow food meal and wine tasting on a farm with and short film screening as bats flew around above our heads.
