Thrill Seeker!

I went to Six Flags about a week and a half ago for Jess’s birthday. I hadn’t been to an amusement park in like 10 years. Back in the day I would always go to Carowinds with church groups and seek out the thrills. Such as a visit to Smurf Island, an actual island that used to be in the theme park complete with mushroom houses and a Gargamel. And if i really wanted to get my adrenaline pumping, I’d stand in both North AND South Carolina at the same time (like this kid pictured below)

Shit was fucking EXTREME!

This trip proved to be just as intense with our first ride being the fastest, tallest, most ridiculously named roller coaster on Earth… the Kingda Ka!

You are shot from 0 to 120 mph in 3 seconds. This got my heart racing almost as much as spotting a cart with Dippin dots….

I am obsessed. I will know I have made it when i have my own minifridge (like the one you keep in a dorm room) set to the exact temp that dippin dots store in, filled with mint chocolate chip.

Tonight I will be helping my good friend, Jon Friedman, try and win the record for the “World’s Fastest Late Night Talk show” for the URDB at Joe’s Pub. I will be Jon’s announcer.

Jon already holds a record for saying the word “Yo” 120 times in 15 seconds. What an over achiever!

…while watching Iron Chef America. Battle Blue Cheese, yall!  Anywho, I stumbled across this blog in Swedish of some boys who came to a recent show of ours. We were opening for the Swedish all girl group Cocktail slippers…

But, OOPS, their superfans came out to see them and ended up falling in love with us!

It was really sweet that they… OH snap! Someone just made a roquefort fritter. I’m out!

This is Lex and Russ.

They do things like travel around the world, create an entire Michael Jackson art show, and have a a baby shower in a bar last saturday in which I had to slow down my drinking because I had a show that night. Yep, baby shower in an Irish pub. That’s why I love them. And I can’t wait to meet their kiddo.

Seth got them an old copy of Joan River’s b0ok… It had a differnt cover than this one, although, baby smoking cigar? Brills.

Seth had her sign it for Lex, in which she said, if needed, she would help her sell her child to Angelina Jolie.
