In related news, tonight for dinner I ate a box of mac & cheese mixed with black beans and baco bits (not a meat product at all, so that resolution is hanging tough!)
now if you dont want to stay at home and discover your inner redneck with what ingredients you choose to throw in a pot, heres my tip for a small budget. tons of restaraunt in the city do not have a liquor license and are totally cool with BYOB. this saves gobs of money!
here is a list of restaraunts however is hasnt been updated ina couple years so i would call first http://nymag.com/nightlife/articles/byob/ .
one that i ate at recently wit my buddy ashleigh is an idian restaraunt on first ave, Panna 2. (http://www.panna2.com/) and theres the sweetest little wine shop just two doors down. panna 2 is covered in lights and cheap as hell and when its someones bday they turn off the lights, turn on a disco ball and play uber weird birthday songs. amazing.
here i am enjoying the lights with drunk red cheeks.
